I’ll always love this university. So many amazing memories that will last with me forever. Whether it was sports or spending time studying, or hanging out with my friends, it was a pleasure knowing that this school is always with me. There will never be another school experience like this one. I could type a letter about this, but I’ll save that talent for another day.

So thankful for Winthrop! Professors are so supportive and helpful, they’re always there for students and will help with anything. I’ve been to 2 universities prior and Winthrop has by far been the best!

Has the best disc course in the State and hosts the US Championship almost every year at this point. A must visit for any avid player.

Horrible Administration Team. They will ensure that their bureaucracy is placed above the needs of the students. DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU RESPECT YOURSELF as they will not respect you or your thoughts

Campus is beautiful from the outside but the insides need extreme TLC. If you are looking for a party school please do not come because we do not have that. Professors and staff are very good at their jobs and I’ve only experienced maybe two that I didn’t like. My professors, classes, and overall feel of campus is what made me come here and stay to graduate. People here care about you!

I worked at Winthrop from 2015 to 2018 as an Adjunct Professor of Music. My colleagues were amazing people and I loved working with them. The students were dedicated for the most part. If any weren't, it was typically because of something difficult going on in their life. If there were anything to complain about, it would be the age of the music conservatory. They try their best to maintain it, but it's just old. Fortunately, there are already plans in place to build a new one.
